Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (954) 310-4983. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Customers rate it 5.0 out of 5 on Google across 51 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded mechanics in Hialeah Gardens.

Hialeah Gardens is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Hialeah Gardens follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. They took the time to explain everything clearly, got the job done right, and treated me with respect throughout the entire process. It’s hard to find a mechanic you can actually trust, but these guys definitely earned my business. Fair pricing, quality work, and excellent customer service. Highly recommend Windy City Auto.

I'm beyond happy with my experience at Windy City Auto! Their service was incredibly well organized — I had all 4 tires replaced, balanced, aligned, got 2 front brakes done, and an oil change, all completed in just an hour and a half. That kind of efficiency is hard to find. What really stood out was their honesty. After every single service, they tested the work and gave me straightforward feedback on how the car was performing — no upselling, no runaround, just honest communication every step of the way. My car feels like a completely different vehicle now. I'll definitely be back for all my future service needs. Highly recommend this team to anyone looking for fast, reliable, and honest auto care!

I found out about this shop via an Instagram ad. When I looked through the reviews here on Google, I decided to give them a try for my desperately needed brakes and rotors replacement (brought some of my own parts, they got the front rotors for me same day despite it being a weekend). Their labor cost are extremely reasonable in comparison to other mechanics I've gone to and they were done way faster than I had anticipated. I had a wonderful experience with them and I hope to continue to do so should I ever need further maintenance. Please know you've gained a returning customer 🙌
